Ben Langford

Ben is the founder, co-owner and head coach at Elements Fitness. Specialising in skill acquisition and performance enhancement, Ben has a Bachelor of Coaching Science from the University of Canberra and is also accredited by the Australian Sports Commission as a qualified Sports Coach, Assessor and Mentor. He has more than 20 years experience in the martial arts and holds a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Ben is available for private training and instructs the BJJ and Boxing Programs.

Eugene Van Leest

Eugene is the co-owner of Elements Fitness and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt with more than fifteen years experience. He is one of Canberra's most highly regarded and sought after Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructors. With more than ten years of professional sports coaching experience, Eugene is adept at communicating the seemingly complex concepts of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to students in a fun and engaging way, which results in rapid improvement regardless of age, gender or athletic ability. Eugene is available for private martial arts training and instructs the Women’s BJJ program.

Simon Le

Simon is a fully qualified personal trainer with more than 12 years’ experience in coaching Canberrans to reach their full physical potential.

In 2000 he established the first Capoeira class in Canberra, a Brazilian martial art in which he is a Contra Mestre and a recognised pioneer of the art form in Australia. He also holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in which he has competed locally and nationally.

Simon is available for personal training.

Nick Delatovic

Nick is a fully qualified Personal Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Coach and Wrestling Coach.

His primary expertise is in sport-specific strength training and programming with a focus on technical excellence and movement patterns. He is experienced in the power-lifts, kettlebell training, bodyweight strength training, combat sports conditioning and freestyle wrestling. He has competed at a state level in power-lifting and currently competes at a national level in freestyle wrestling. 

Nick is available for Personal Training and instructs the Strength & Power and Athletic Conditioning programs.

Rawan Al-Daghestani

Rawan has trained at Elements since the beginning of the CMD Boxing & Kickboxing program and has spent several years developing her coaching skills under the guidance of some of Canberra's top martial arts instructors and personal trainers.

She is the first person to graduate from the Gym Padawan Program and continues to train Judo, BJJ, Wrestling and Kick Boxing.

Rawan is available for Private Boxing and Kickboxing training and instructs the Kickboxing portion of the CMD Program.

Gem Wheildon

Gem has a strong background in dance, powerlifting and olympic weightlifting.

She has competed locally and nationally and is currently strength coach to a team of dance sport competitors here in Canberra. Gem specialises in tailoring training to a diverse array of client skills, needs, abilities, ages and backgrounds.

Gem is an experienced and qualified weightlifting coach and is available for personal training.
