We are proud to announce that Rawan Al-Daghestani will be joining the ranks of Elements Fitness coaches. Many of you already know Rawan as an enthusiastic member of our CMD, Judo, Wrestling and BJJ programs so we figured that as she was at the gym all the time anyway we may as well put her to work.
Rawan will be instructing the kickboxing classes on Tuesday and Thursday nights and will soon be available for one on one boxing, kickboxing and weightlifting sessions.
We will also be running an additional Strength & Power class on Wednesdays at 5pm. This will give all of you wondering if coach Nick has more than three outfits a chance to find out. This will start January 11.
There are also going to be a number of changes to the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu timetable.
Firstly, we be running Advanced BJJ classes 530pm to 630pm Tuesday and Thursday before the Fundamentals classes. These classes are open to blue belts and above and will be replacing the Friday night Advanced class.
Secondly, we are adjusting the number of no-gi sessions so that we can offer at least one gi and one no-gi class most days of the week. This change will bring the timetable back into line with the original Elements Jiu Jitsu vision and intention of training complete grapplers adept fighting gi and no-gi, standing and on the ground.
